Client Work: Marilyn and Kamari

Its been some time now since I've posted anything on here but I promise I will write about it personally later! Its late, I'm tired, and very overworked. I've been experimenting with color, split toning and light flares and I like the way its going so far. I'll keep exploring these techinques and see where they lead me. So, enjoy this photo dump of my recent client and her daughter for now! Toodles!

Princess & Luis Isales

I had the honor of shooting my favorite cousin's wedding. It was small family wedding with a few close friends. I'm just so happy to see my cousin grow from a kid, to a marine, and now a husband. It's funny how time portrays people at different moments in their lives. It's like watching an evolution take place in front of me, disregarding my own at the same time. Life is fascinating. I love my profession.

Dead

I painted my roommate's face today. I've known this man since our 6th grade year about ten years ago now. I love him so much, he's always been the brother I never had and will always. That's why I love that he's my roommate. We've lived at this house together for a little over a year now, and just recently we were told our house is up for foreclosure and we basically need to gtfo in 30 days. It's just sad that these might be some of the last pictures of this glorious house we love so much. Life moves on I guess, but these last two years will be tales for my offspring when they come around. Some of the best times of my life happened under the shelter of these walls. It's sad to walk away from it now. I maybe should of thought of this October of last year but I've been thinking for a while to start a series of a creepy twist on love song lyrics. I'll upload as I develop this concept further. Thanks for stopping by!
Yes, I am aware of my dirty, dusty mirror. Captain Obvious is not needed here.

Client work. A photo dump for these senior portraits I did a few weeks ago. Thanks to my room mate I can see now that any of my photos look exactly the way I want them to on a Mac, so if you have one - awesome! If you're on PC (with miserable me) just try to imagine great detail and wonderful tones over the tacky, extremely vibrant unsatisfactory you see here. Thanks for stopping by!
